I'm a sucker for speed, says Zayed Khan!
| Mumbai, Sep 5 (IANS) After jumping from a highrise for "Mission Istaanbul", Zayed Khan once again did a bike stunt for his underwater adventure thriller "Blue". The actor says he promised his parents he won't do anything dangerous again, but couldn't resist riding the Ducati 999 bike. Zayed did the stunts with other male stars of "Blue" - Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Kumar - through the streets of Phuket, Thailand. It could have ended in a calamity. "I know my parents will blow their top when they see it. But what to do? I can't help it. I'm a sucker for speed. It's in my genes. My father says I'm as stubborn as a mule. I'd do just the opposite of what he asks me to. Maybe he should now try telling me to do all the stunts I can," Zayed told IANS. "I thought I'd keep this a surprise and just give my parents the shock of their life at the premiere. But I guess not. Yeah, Sanju sir, Akshay and I did this bike chase in Phuket. "I'm a huge bike fan. And we got these really cool Ducati 999 racers. And, man, did we race? It was dangerous. I've to admit that. We were going under trucks and over cars. We sped through this vast pineapple field. It was awesome! It's arguably the most dangerous stunt ever performed in our movies." "Blue" has had mishaps, misadventures and missed cues on location in Phuket. Just two weeks ago Zayed plunged out of a high rise for an action scene in Bangkok and missed his cue crashing into the windshield of a car. Now he has hurt his hand. Every member of the cast has been through one mishap or another, Zayed being the most accident-prone. |
