Sonam's shopping spree!

Mumbai, July 28 -- Hi da hi mushy mushroom quiches! How goes it in your world? For a change it's not raining billis and kutta kameenas today. So I'm in the mood to shoot some breeze in my Jaguar on the expressway. And before I zip, zap, zoom, fasten your seatbelts for I've some really natkhat nuggets to serve you now. Read on my sweetums...

For starters, a jasoos from Juhu has dropped in to give me some dope on Sonam Kapoor. Seems he bumped into a friendly unitwallah , who must have spilled these beans on the vivacious actress. Khair, point is that the Kapoor kudi indulged in abundant shopping while filming her home-production, Aisha, in the US.

Apparently, a considerable part of the schedule was to be shot after sunset. So director Rajshri Ojha would shoot with Sonam, Abhay Deol and the rest of the cast till 6 am. And the moment the nirdeshika announced pack-up, Kapoor would rush to her hotel suite for nap.

Why the hurry you might ask? Nah, it had nothing to do with the night-long shooting, but there's a reason why the Sonam was in a mad rush to catch her 40 winks of sleep. Turns out that she'd be ready to leave in time for the stores to open... So she could buy all the things she loved, be it clothes, jewellery or other accessories. Not that there was a sale on or the Kapoor kudi wanted to buy something she didn't have...

But aise hi, she just wanted to indulge herself in all that kharidaari, that went on and on and on... Day after day after day, till it was time for her to fly back to Mumbai. Not surprisingly, she didn't drop even though her shopping spree ran into tons. Wonder if all those shopping bills were added to Aisha's production cost. Or shouldn't I ask?
