New Delhi, July 5 (IANS) Comic actor and Bollywood director Sajid Khan will now be seen cracking jokes while chatting with Bollywood celebrities on his new talk show “Sajid's Superstars”. Sajid will use humour to dig out the deepest of secrets from the stars, including Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, Shahid Kapur and Ranbir Kapoor. “I always wanted to do my own chat show on television. It is totally a fun Bollywood show, keeping the respect for each of my guests intact. They are all my friends and guests, so I feel they should be respected.

The event held here Thursday was to announce new General Entertainment Channel (GEC) Colors - a joint venture between entertainment company Viacom Inc and India's media conglomerate Network 18 Group.

Bangalore/Kolkata, June 28 (IANS) Traumatised over being scolded by a judge during a reality dance competition in Kolkata, 16-year-old Shinjini Sengupta suffered a paralytic attack and has been admitted to the state-run National Institute of Mental Health and Sciences (Nimahans) here Saturday for treating her medical condition. "Shinjini is in the neurology special ward under observation. We have conducted some tests and are diagnosing her condition for deciding the course of treatment. She was brought here from Kolkata by her parents," a doctor at Nimhans told IANS.

Dubai, June 19 (IANS) High quality fiction will be the next big thing on Indian television, according to Sameer Nair, the man behind the hugely successful "Kaun Banega Crorepati" (KBC) and a slew of daily soap operas that once helped make STAR Plus the numero uno Hindi entertainment channel. "High quality fiction is what can be the next big thing on Indian television and not general soap operas," Nair, who is now the chief executive officer of NDTV Imagine, the Hindi entertainment channel of India's NDTV group, said here Thursday.

New Delhi, June 13 (IANS) Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's five little friends on quiz show "Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain" had loads of fun when actors Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan came as celebrity guests for a special episode. While 11-year-old Shriya presented a size-zero top to Kareena, Anubhav donned Saif's look for the episode and even flaunted a 'Kareena' tattoo on his forearm. Milanjeet offered them 'gheewale laddoo' (a fatty Indian sweet) and Dheriya requested Saif to sing a song and play the guitar. Saif, who was constantly biting his nails in nervousness, humbly obliged.

New Delhi, June 4 (IANS) Bollywood star Salman Khan, who is gearing up for his television debut with reality game show "Dus Ka Dum", starting June 6, says he is not the type to rehearse for his roles. "I don't like to rehearse too much. I have never prepared myself for my roles," Salman wrote in his blog. He also said that he is neither aware of the number of acting schools that exist nor does he belong to any acting school. But he believes in the concept of a method school.
